Ebrahim K. Kanoo Hosts Bahrain Polytechnic Interns

Ebrahim K. Kanoo recently hosted two Bahrain Polytechnic marketing students at its corporate office, in line with the company’s mission of investing in the education and enhancement of Bahrainis.

Zahra Mohamed and Layla Al Tublani interned for four months at Ebrahim K. Kanoo’s marketing department working closely with the marketing staff. The students were exposed to the main automotive and car care brands of the company and closely followed national and global communications campaigns.

Ebrahim K. Kanoo’s CEO; Mike Brightmore highlighted the importance of knowledge sharing to the company stating, “Ebrahim K. Kanoo has always strongly believed in investing in the youth of Bahrain and has provided countless academic, technical and on-the-job training opportunities to cater to school students to university graduates. Knowledge sharing and learnings from international best practices is part of the company’s ethos. The interns also played a vital role by shedding new light on our target markets and helping us better cater to their needs.”

Established by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa by Royal Decree, the Bahrain Polytechnic in Isa Town, serves Bahrain and the wider Gulf region by offering technical and applied professional education, short courses, and applied research and consultancy services whilst adopting the internationally-known problem-based learning approach (PBL).
