Toyota shows off 4X4 Capabilities at the BIC

Utilising the BIC’s comprehensive off-road track and expert drivers, guests of the event were driven around diverse natural and man-made obstacles to get a first-hand feel of how Toyota’s 4X4 SUVs perform on different terrains. Available at the event were Toyota’s Land Cruiser, FJ Cruiser, Prado and Fortuner models.

Ebrahim K. Kanoo Senior Manager of Toyota Marketing, Ayman Shehadeh, said: “Toyota’s SUV range is the most popular in Bahrain and we felt that Toyota enthusiasts would enjoy getting a first-hand test of the capabilities of their cars. This latest ‘Experience Event’ was created to be a thrilling experience for the whole family and we are glad to have had so many people attend and really witness the ability of our cars to perform on any terrain and through any obstacle.”

The event was open to Toyota SUV owners and interested potential customers were treated to exclusive rides with professional off-road drivers. The BIC’s facility is the first of its kind in the Middle East, offering 3.5 kilometres of varying terrains such as sand, rock, hill and water landscapes. It also includes 32 natural and man-made obstacles such as slide slopes, humps, rocks, gravel roads and watercourses.
