The world class off road vehicle has received a dynamic facelift, giving it a more stylishly rugged external appearance, and an upgrade to its interior to further boost comfort and safety.
Available in more than 190 countries worldwide the Prado is a particular favourite in the Bahrain market, with an enviable heritage amongst the mid-sized SUVs. The dynamic upgrade builds on this rich heritage to deliver an even more stylish, comfortable, and safe driving experience, reinforcing its rock-solid reputation as one of the world’s toughest and most reliable 4x4s.

The new Prado comes with an exhilarating 4.0L V6 petrol engine or a class leading 2.7L L4 petrol engine. The automatic 6 speed transmission promises a smooth shifting experience supported by the full time 4wd system with TORESEN ® Limited Slip Differential (LSD). The new edition also boasts downhill and hill start assist controls (DAC & HAC).
The exterior has been refreshed with a new look chrome-heavy grille, new sculpted bumpers and fenders, restyled LED headlights and a curvy new bonnet to enhance downward visibility. The Prado also comes in a new range of colors including an all-new Midnight Emerald Blue and a stunning Avant-Garde metallic Bronze.
The Prado’s interior has also been given an upgrade, enhancing comfort and lifting cabin ambience with an 8” HD multi information display, Optitron driver’s meters, and a comfortable 7-seat layout with premium power adjustable leather seats.
Importantly, Toyota’s cleverly engineered safety systems, ensure drivers the peace of mind they have come to expect from Toyota. The Prado also comes with active traction control (A-TRC), multi terrain anti-lock braking systems enabling driving on any possible terrain. Dual SRS airbags, vehicle stability control (VSC), tire pressure monitoring system and automatic emergency brake signal all come as standard with the Prado, who’s most notable upgrade is to its safety features.
