Ebrahim K. Kanoo, sole distributor of Michelin tyres in the Kingdom of Bahrain, announced its participation in the 33rd GCC Traffic Week event, which takes place from 16 March to 4 April at Dohat Arad walkway near the Bahrain International Airport.
Michelin, which has always placed safety as a priority in its manufacturing process, is offering visitors advice on the precautions to take while driving on the road to ensure the safety of all passengers. Visitors to the stand are being taught about the importance of keeping track of tread depth in tyres. Regular inspections should be carried out, and tyres should be replaced before they have been worn out to the 1.6mm level, which becomes a considerably easier task with Michelin tyres as they come equipped with tread depth indicators located in the base of the main tread grooves.

Held in March of each year, GCC Traffic Week is organised by the General Directorate of Traffic in cooperation with government and private institutions. It aims to reduce traffic accidents and improve road safety by creating awareness and correcting dangerous practices adopted by some drivers.
