A major sponsorship from Ebrahim K. Kanoo will go towards supporting large-scale renovations at one of Bahrain’s oldest and most respected clubs, Al Ahli Sports Club. In line with its commitment to supporting the well-being of the local community, the Toyota distributor made the annual announcement to the club at its Manama premises.
Ebrahim K. Kanoo Board Member, Khalid Kanoo discussed the ongoing renovation plans and finalised the sponsorship with Club Secretary Fareed Taha at a ceremony attended by senior Club officials and Ebrahim K. Kanoo staff. The sponsorship will be used to improve and create sustainable facilities for the Club’s football, basketball, handball and volleyball divisions.
“Al Ahli Sports Club, one of the pillars of the local sports community, is currently undergoing major renovations which will see it turn into a completely new club by the end of the year,” said Khalid Kanoo. “This sponsorship falls in line with our CSR strategy and will help nurture local sportsmen and women at the grassroots level, providing the infrastructure that gives them the opportunity to prove themselves and put the Kingdom on the world stage.”
