The independent Swiss-based International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) provides a model to build an effective quality management system and awards companies based on a thorough analysis of different internal parameters related to its certifications.
ISO 9001:2015 is a globally recognised quality management standard based on quality management principles, including a strong customer focus, involvement of high-level company management, systematic approach and ongoing improvement of processes.
ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for an Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) management system, detailing best practice for safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving its OH&S performance.
