Toyota participates in 33rd GCC Traffic Week activities

Ebrahim K. Kanoo, sole distributor of Toyota vehicles in the Kingdom of Bahrain, participated in the 33rd Gulf Traffic Week, an annual campaign aimed at raising awareness of road safety, which was held at Doha Arad walkway near the Bahrain International Airport. The theme of the stall centered around the emotional message of 'keeping the family safe' by ensuring simple, yet important, road safety measures. These included advice to always wear seatbelts, periodic vehicle maintenance, the purchasing of Genuine Spare Parts always, and the use of hands-free devices with Bluetooth connectivity when making or receiving calls on the road. The messages highlighted at the Toyota stall were well received by visitors. On behalf of Ebrahim K. Kanoo and Toyota, Mr.  Ayman Shehadeh welcomed ministry officials and other dignitaries.

Toyota has a global reputation for promoting and enhancing road safety. Participation in this campaign reinforced this position by providing important road safety tips to the visitors.

"The response we have received since the beginning of our participation has been strong," said Ebrahim K. Kanoo Senior Manager of Toyota Marketing, Ayman Shehadeh. "We believe that traffic safety is paramount, and felt an obligation to reiterate this message for both drivers and passengers in Bahrain. We at Ebrahim K. Kanoo are committed to providing a safe and secure driving experience for our customers. We have world-class facilities available at our service centres, and also the widest spare parts network in Bahrain, which brings our customers peace of mind while driving on the road."

Held in March every year, GCC Traffic Week is organised by the General Directorate of Traffic in cooperation with government and private institutions. It aims to reduce traffic accidents and improve road safety by creating awareness and correcting dangerous practices adopted by drivers.
